Determined to explore her passions she pursued her education as a massage therapist, graduating from Mt. Nittany Institute of Natural Health in 2007 and has been in her private practice since. Laura Lee continues to broaden her bodywork education today and has found her favorite current integrative massages include her knowledge of hot stone therapy, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and thai massage.

Her practice of yoga has been a constant throughout the various exploratory stages of her career. In 2007 she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at the Mt Nittany Institute of Natural Health in State College, PA. It was at this time that she was blessed to travel to India for vacation and where she stumbled upon a still evolving love affair with her possibilities and evolution as a yogi. Laura Lee has been practicing and studying with the Isha Yoga Center in both India and Tennessee since her journey there in 2007. She completed her Isha Hata Yoga teacher training in 2012 and is excited to share these phenomenal tools for transformation at Emerge.

Laura Lee also founded an after school and summer children's program called, Yoga and Art for Kids, in 2012. Laura Lee guides children K-6 to the amazing and life long tools of yoga, facilitates creative play, exposes children to various cross cultural art lessons exploring the technique and hands on experience of various art media. Laura Lee feels it is a great privilege to encourage artistic literacy, expose children to the ancient art of yoga, and tap into the abundant flow of creativity. Laura Lee hopes to keep this program alive with her new endeavors.

Blessed with a model of strong female entrepreneurs, Laura Lee worked and managed her grandmothers bed and breakfasts most of her life. She feels her entrepreneur spirt is something she was exposed to at a young age for better or worse. Laura Lees most recent edge of growth has been in her recent pursuit to become a birth doula. The seeds of motherhood magic where planted in her from the young age that she became a mother. Laura Lee can not imagine anything more beautiful then motherhood. For women to openly confide and welcome her into their magical and strenuous climbs to motherhood she continues to be in awe. "Birth is the most raw, beautiful human experience." Although her birth doula work is still in its infancy you can find her joyfully embracing every opportunity she finds to "mother the mother".

Laura Lee feels an enormous satisfaction in the creation and continued evolution of Emerge Healing Arts and Spa and hopes that it touches your life in some nourishing, transformational way. "Thank you for your interest and support in exploring and sharing all that we offer." Additionally, Laura Lee feels deeply grateful to have found such amazing women and talented therapists to share space with, and continue to grow and evolve as emerge healing arts and spa, where each of them continues to make a difference. She is also grateful to her partner who she could not have created this project without.
